All of our doctrine is rooted in the Bible and centered on the gospel message that Jesus died and rose to save sinners and bring us to God.
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God.” (1 Pet. 3:18)
Doctrine Of God – We believe in one God eternally existing as one essence and three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, each of whom is fully God, yet there is one God. (Deut. 6:4, John 1:1-3, Matt. 3:16-17, 2 Cor. 13:14)
Doctrine Of Revelation – We believe that God has made Himself known to the world in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures and creation. (John 17:17, 2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:21, Heb. 1:3)
Doctrine Of Creation And Providence – We believe that God created the world from nothing and governs all things at all times in all places. (Gen. 1:1, Prov. 16:4, Acts 17:24, Col. 1:16-17)
Doctrine Of Humanity – We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and possess intrinsic dignity and worth. (Gen. 1:26-27)
Doctrine Of Sin – We believe that sin has fractured all things, leaving the world in desperate need for salvation. (Rom. 3:10, 23, 6:23, Eph. 4:18, 1 John 1:8-10, Gal. 5:16-17)
Doctrine Of Salvation – We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. (1 Pet. 1:18-19, Eph 2:8-9, Tit. 3:5, Eph. 4:32, Rom. 5:1)
Doctrine Of The Church – We believe that the Church is the body of Christ sent into the world to shine forth The glory of God. (Jer. 31:31, 1 Cor. 12:13, Heb. 13:17, 1 Cor. 11:23-28)
Doctrine Of Resurrection And Consummation Of The Kingdom Of God – We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead. (Isa. 65-66, 1 Cor. 15:24-28, 2 Thess. 1:5-10, Heb. 9:27, Rev. 20-22)
“So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” (Heb. 9:28)
