What Are Community Groups?
Community Groups are small group gatherings to help build strong Christ-centered relationships that grow us in doctrine, discipleship, and devotion, and help each member move forward with the mission and vision of ECC.

The church is more than just a Sunday experience; it is a family. Romans 12:10 urges believers to, "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." Community groups create a space where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

The early church was built on a strong foundation of community. In Acts 2:42-47, believers met regularly in homes, devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, broke bread together, and supported one another. This is our model: “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.”

Community groups are not just for church members; they are also a means of outreach to those outside the church. Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). By inviting non-believers to our groups, they can experience the love of Christ in a welcoming, personal setting.
